Bormioli Rocco
First Bormioli Rocco Flagship Store
Bormioli Rocco chooses Milan for its first flagship store
The centre of Milan is embellished with a new shopping address dedicated to the table and the house. Bormioli Rocco opens the doors of its first flagship store and does so in the city which is a synonym with Italian fashion and design. In the heart of Brera and precisely in Corso Garibaldi No. 3 in Milan, nearly 2000 square feet of exhibition collect a wide range of products, from the latest products to a section called "museum" that collects all the pieces that have made the history of Bormioli Rocco. The store contains the values of style, attention to new trends, aesthetic and functional quality, sense of tradition and proximity to consumers that have always distinguished the brand Bormioli Rocco.
Concept and style of the store have been skilfully interpreted by Costa Group, leader in Italy for design and furnishing of stores. The structure of Bormioli Rocco store extends in depth outlined by three rooms connected by a walkway lined entirely with black mosaic. A real course structured in different spaces that create a friendly and communicative atmosphere that makes you want to watch, discover, recapture. Great importance has been given to lighting, where a system of lights has been studied to create volume and shape the atmosphere, which highlights all Bormioli Rocco products on display.
In the fitting of the rooms two main elements are found, wood and iron, used in the realization of the exhibition and in the furniture; all to give Bormioli Rocco products the leading role in all the space. Large and small containers in the shapes of suitcases and trunks contain collections of products, mobile elements chosen to represent the versatility of products and the dynamism necessary to contain collections that change over time.
Two large paintings propped against a wall, depicting a chalice and a Four seasons jar, two of the cult products of the company which holds a true expertise both in professional tasting and in conservation. The walls are covered with bespoke wallpaper; one version with the products, the other a more institutional setting in which only the logo appears.
Finally in the last room the two major collections devoted to conservation, Quattrostagioni and Frigoverre, face each other occupying the space of the shelves on the walls; at the centre of the room a long wood and iron table acts as an ideal element to expose collections, outlining the different styles of laying the table according to Bormioli Rocco. The new Bormioli Rocco flagship store in Milan opened its doors officially today, presenting for the occasion all the latest products and dedicating a space in the window to the Una bottle, the bottle celebrating the 150 years of the Unification of Italy, produced by Bormioli Rocco, designed by Aldo Cibic and inserted by the Presidency of the Republic in the calendar of official celebrations for the Unification of Italy.
